Resalta signs new lighting project in the Czech Republic with Fermat

Resalta is launching a new lighting renovation project in the Czech Republic, for the Fermat Group’s production hall in Brno.

Fermat’s core business is the production of horizontal boring mills, based in the region’s tradition of manufacturing metal working and processing equipment. Fermat employs experienced and skilled professionals and uses high quality components and materials, and as a result is one of the fastest growing producers of this type of equipment in Europe. The company is concerned with sustainability and environmental responsibility and hired Resalta to improve its energy efficiency on lighting.

Resalta will replace 124 inefficient luminaires with 84 high-efficiency LED luminaires which will have higher levels of luminosity and be better positioned in order to provide better lighting levels. In addition, security lighting with uninterrupted power supply will be installed to provide safety lighting in cases of power outages. Replacing lighting with LED technology will reduce the installed capacity by 246 kW and generate energy savings of 162 MWh annually. This means that Fermat will consume 80% less energy on lighting and lower CO2 emissions by 80 tons each year.

Lighting renovation projects are a cost-effective and technologically simple method of improving energy efficiency and generate immediate results, achieving energy as well as financial savings while reducing CO2 emissions. LED lighting is energy efficient because it consumes less electricity than a fluorescent alternative, with a longer life cycle.

Resalta is the leading independent energy services provider in SEE and has realized over 180 projects for over 120 clients. A dynamic, fast-growing company, Resalta works with both public and private clients to finance, design and implement projects that reduce energy consumption, lower CO2 emissions and promote sustainability while generating cost savings. Besides being present in Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia, Resalta has expanded to the Czech Republic, Italy and Poland as well, offering the same impeccable quality of service throughout Central and Southeastern Europe.
