Situation before the contract and client requirements

Petrovac na Mlavi is a town in central Serbia. Its public lighting infrastructure was outdated and the municipality decided to publish a tender for a public private partnership to renovate the systems. Resalta won the tender with its technical partner Elios.

Resalta solution

Resalta’s solution is to replace 1,521 old luminaires with 1,426 LED luminaires and 50 halogen luminaires.

Resalta will also replace the obsolete systems for switching public lighting on and off at all 36 substations in the municipality, with an automated system that will enable greater energy efficiency.

The PPP contract lasts 12 years, with Resalta providing an added 3 years of guarantee for the lighting equipment.
