Situation before the contract and client requirements

  • The municipality of Mali Iđoš in Vojvodina, Serbia published a tender for a public-private partnership, seeking a private partner to undertake energy renovations of several buildings.
  • Resalta won the tender thanks to its previous experience with such projects in Serbia.

Resalta solution

The project includes the construction of new boiler rooms in several facilities in the municipality, which have replaced fuel oils with natural gas. The buildings that are part of the project are three primary schools, the main municipal building of Mali Iđoš, a health centre, a police station and an outpatient clinic. Condensing gas boilers with a total capacity of 2.7 MW were installed, providing the municipality of Mali Iđoš with energy-efficient heating using an environmentally friendly energy source - natural gas.
The total contract duration is 15 years during which Resalta will take care of operations and provide maintenance for the installed equipment.
