Reduction of water and waste water costs

Situation before the contract and client requirements

The Radenci Health Resort is one of the biggest health resorts in Slovenia. It has 10 pools with a total water surface of 1,460 m2.

The client wanted to reduce water expenses, optimize filtration and become environmentally friendly. The client was incurring significant costs of waste water, which went directly into sewage.

Resalta solution

Resalta and Terme Radenci signed an energy performance contract for optimizing the existing sand filtration system with ultrafiltration (UF).

Resalta proposed installing ultrafiltration for waste water, including a system for washing the filters, topping and CO2 bath for optimizing the existing sand filtration.

Filtered water is automatically doused with chemicals to meet quality standards required for bathing water.

The efficiency of the device is 85%.
