Situation before the contract and client requirements

The hotel was using electricity to heat sanitary water, which was an expensive and inefficient heating method.

The maintenance of electric heaters was very expensive.

The client was looking for a contracting partner with experience in energy solutions for the hospitality industry.

Resalta solution

Resalta installed an air/water heat pump for the heating of sanitary water. The heat pump capacity is 140 kW. The heated sanitary water is delivered to the main hotel building and the surrounding bungalows.

The heat pump is located outside the area accessible to guests in order to avoid noise pollution and is connected with pipes to the tanks of hot sanitary water.
